DAMAGE WAIVER
A damage waiver of 12% of the hire charge applies to every hire. In return, S&S Machinery limits your liability for accidental damage to the machine during the hire period to the bond amount, subject to the exclusions below. The waiver is not insurance and does not cover theft, misuse or damage to third-party property.
EXCLUSIONS
Exclusions include damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the provided safety and operating instructions. We reserve the right to refuse service or charge for any machine that is not operated in accordance with Australian safety standards.
BOND
A security bond of $500 to $1,000 is required for all hire bookings. This bond is held in a pre-authorised account until the machine is returned in good condition. The bond amount is determined by the hire duration and the specific machine model.
FUEL
Machines are supplied with a full tank of fuel. Return the machine full and there is nothing further to pay. If it comes back part-full, the fuel used is charged at cost plus a refuelling fee, deducted from the bond or added to the invoice.
